After seven rounds, 14 races and a great deal of close battles, Paul Moss has been crowned 2010 Darlington and District Motor Club (DDMC) Northern Saloons and Sports Car Championship (NSSCC) Champion.

Paul has been contesting the series for a number of years, and after initially achieving honours in 2007, he has now accompanied that with back to back championship victories, gaining maximum respect along the way from fans and rivals alike.

At the wheel of his well-known red Citroen Saxo, Paul has taken the championship by storm, also ruffling some feathers in his resident class, Class D. As ever he has had significant competition from the rest of the field, however the momentum of transferring his ‘reigning champion’ status into current champion has given him the edge.

Paul has always had the racing bug, having been a part of the motor racing scene for many years. It all began in 1990, when, as with many racing drivers, karting took a hold of his attention, as he went on to achieve a vast collection of victories. From here he made the leap into rallying in 1995, where he amassed a wealth of knowledge about car control and varying motor racing events.

After vacating the rallying scene shortly afterwards it was time for a bit of a break from racing for Paul; however in 2004 he was back and ready for something a bit diverse. The NSSCC grasped his attention, as he soon began to strive for championship honours in what was a massively tough series.

Competition from every which way challenged Paul, however determination and skill behind the wheel lead him to three championship titles, together with earning his own collection of fans.

Together with his racing Paul’s on track exploits take him that bit further, with instructing also being a big part of his circuit efforts. Being an experienced ARDS instructor, Paul has offered a great deal of work to those wanting to learn the necessary track skills, to aid them in their driving career, whether it is strictly relating to motor racing or even driving experience events.
