Wednesday 20th June was the second consecutive day for our Supercar Gift Experience days here at Croft Circuit. After an interesting day courtesy of the weather yesterday there was an exciting day in store today. A reverse in the timetable saw the full track experiences take place during the morning session, with the circuit shortened for the Thrill experiences in the afternoon.

The Audi R8 was the most popular choice for today, with the majority of people opting for a car described as the ideal car for Croft. The size and build of the R8 makes negotiating the circuit that bit easier, as it weaves its way around the variety of turns we have here at Croft. Also combined with the light weight frame, the R8 is able to hit the apex of the corner time after time, making it an enjoyable track experience for the driver.

Since arriving at Croft this year, the new-to-Croft Lamborghini Gallardo has continued to attract attention, as it continues its busy schedule day after day. The Gallardo’s ‘big brother’ the Lamborghini LP670-SV played a vital role in our Ultimate experiences today, as it teamed up with the Ferrari and Audi R8 for a truly fantastic supercar experience.

This afternoons Thrill sessions saw the Ferrari 458 come into play, with the other new Italian machine demonstrating the way around the shorter circuit here at Croft.

Many of the supercar experiences are completed with a drive in one of our Ginetta G20’s, which gives our customers a completely different idea of driving around Croft. After driving the circuit themselves, many people are then fortunate enough to see how the professionals do it, with a high speed passenger ride in one of our Caterhams. This has proved a bit of an eye opener for many, as they get a taste of what can be done along with first hand experience of our instructor’s abilities. Our team of instructors are professional racing drivers and are always on hand to offer the best advice behind the wheel.
