Saturday 17th September saw another single-seater Gift Experience Day here at Croft Circuit. As we arrive at the final experience days on the 2011 calendar, we thought it would be a good idea to give you more of an idea of what to expect on such a day. So, what exactly does the day entail?

Upon arrival at the circuit you will sign on, where you will receive any further instructions for the day, including your pass and lanyard to prove you are the one in the driving seat. When the time is right your group will be called to your safety briefing, with one of our most senior instructors guiding you through the do’s and don’ts of driving around Croft Circuit.
After the briefing you will find yourself embraced in the fast-paced world of life on the track. From passenger laps in our Mazda as your instructor points out which way the circuit turns and informs on how to take each corner, to your final laps in your last car, you will enjoy every second of it.
The first car you will drive yourself on our Gift Experience Days is the Porsche Cayman, which many find pleasantly satisfying. As you ease your way towards securing track knowledge, your instructor is beside you for every lap.

Now armed with the skills needed to fully enjoy the 2.1 mile circuit layout, the single-seater machines are fired up. Left to your own devices, you are given the freedom of the circuit, as you demonstrate what you have learnt in a short space of time.

At the end of your experience a certificate and possibly even a ride in one of our Caterhams, courtesy of one of our professional racing drivers, is waiting for you.
