Race car gift day – Sat 8th Oct 2011

Saturday 8th October played host to the final single-seater Gift Experience Day here at Croft Circuit, and as ever it was an enjoyable day for all involved.

A number of our Formula Forward 2000 machines were out in force to accommodate our group of excited customers for the day. Mixed weather conditions made for an exciting adventure, with many sampling a race track for the very first time.

Our single-seater race cars give our customers a real taste of life as a racing driver. Armed with a 1.7 litre four cylinder engine, the cars speed from 0-60mph in just 4.5 seconds. A mid engine rear wheel drive machine provides the perfect balance around the 1.2 mile circuit, as our drivers mount a challenge through the long straights and twisty corners of Croft. A top speed of 140mph combined with 130bhp is enough to give everyone an idea of the power these cars provide.

The Ever popular Ferrari 355 was also out in force for the day. Many people who sample this now classic machine go on to sample our other supercar experiences, all of which can be viewed on the Croft Circuit website.
