The Roger Albert Clark arrived at Croft on Saturday afternoon for two stages just as the winter sun left.

This beautiful Lancia Fulvia drove without lights, which made focussing rather difficult.

Fortunately the others didn’t which made photography a little easier.

Some drivers were very local

while others were from overseas.

Putting the event in its historic context, there was barely a wastegate to be heard chattering but on the other hand there was the glorious sound of the Lancia Stratos.

Sadly the noise axe has fallen again so rallying at Croft is over for 2011. However the Specsavers will still be taking place, so see you all on Monday January 2nd 2012.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
