Exclusive Mat Jackson event – Fri 17th June 2011

The Croft Supporters Club have managed to secure an exclusive Meet and Greet session with top BTCC driver Mat Jackson, which is only available to members.

After last years very successful event with Andrew Jordan, we’ve decided to put together a similar event which is due to start early evening Fri 17th June 2011. A tour of the Airwaves Racing garage, a chat with Mat Jackson and a low speed lap of the full Croft Circuit are all promised for the event.

There’s only 20 places available so please e-mail Terry Wright (terry@croftsupportersclub.com) directly if you are a Croft Supporters Club member and can attend.

Wins for Shedden & Jordan at Croft as Neal continues to lead Plato at the top

Gordon Shedden and Andrew Jordan shared the wins in today’s three Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship races at the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire. Notably Jordan’s win was his first in the series and also marked the first for BTCC organiser TOCA’s turbocharged ‘NGTC’ engine. But at the top of the championship it is still Matt Neal who continues to lead old rival Jason Plato as the BTCC enters a lengthy summer break before returning to high-speed action at Snetterton in Norfolk on 8 August. continue reading…

Today at Croft Circuit, Andrew Jordan won his first BTCC race. As is always the case with BTCC races, there was lots of drama from start to finish, but Andrew showed what a great racer he has become as he got himself into a good rhythm and lead from start to finish after starting from pole position in the third BTCC race of the day. continue reading…
