After a successful appearance last year, The Greenpower Challenge is returning to Croft Circuit in July this year.

Aimed at encouraging aspiring young engineers to fulfil their dream career, the Greenpower Challenge has established itself over previous years to hold the status it currently does. Greenpower @ Croft event

Wednesday 7th July 2010 sees the annual Greenpower @ Croft event, in partnership with IMechE NE, take place at Croft Circuit. Supporting schools and pupils from ages 9 and above, Greenpower has worked tirelessly since its conception in 1999 to make the scheme the success it is today. The Croft event has been held since 2003 and has always had a good turnout. This year will see an impressive 27 out of a maximum permissible 30 teams competing in tightly regulated battery powered machines. continue reading…
